The HYT-700 features such safety tools as Lone Worker, Man Down (optional) and Emergency Siren features. The Built-In Scrambler feature in this two way radio provides enhanced security for your important public safety and private security communications. The Whisper feature allows even the quietest message to be transmitted and understood by the receiver loud and clear. The Channel Annunciation feature enables this two way radio to announce the current channel number when the user powers on or switches channel. The Emergency feature allows the user to press the Emergency key to emit an emergency alarm, or send ENI, a defined emergency procedure is activated. (Emergency Number Identity) / background tone to a pre-defined person or the dispatch center (selectable via programming software). With all of these HYT innovations the HYT-700 will keep you, your employees and the information you commmunicate safe.
The Auto Contact feature is especially helpful in high-demanding communication environments, such as climbing, exploration, and rescue work. When
the feature is enabled, the radio beeps when the user is moving out of communication range. The Rental feature limits the time period that a radio can be rented. The radio will be disabled once the time elapses. The optional upgradeable firmware accommodates future updates and Programming your HYT-700 couldn't be easier. The HYT is completely PC Programmable and you can even clone the HYT-700 wirelessly.
