Radio is very versatile and allows our department to communicate to various municipalities within our area without carrying 3 different radios. This has replaced over 20 pounds of equipment each team member would have to carry.
A little on the heavy side, but it is realized in strength and quality. Our radio has been dropped, battered, submerged in water, and thrown on the ground. Minus the dent marks, this radio is good as new. Battery life is acceptable...
