The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that any company or individual using radio frequencies listed in the Industrial/Business Pool must obtain a radio station license. This ensures that your radio communications are compliant with federal regulations and helps minimize interference with other users.
Options for Obtaining an FCC License
1. Apply for an FCC License
To apply for an FCC license, you will need to pay a fee. The application process can take up to 3 weeks, which may delay the shipping of your radios. If you need the radios immediately, you can purchase the software and programming cable to program your FCC licensed frequencies once approved. In the interim, we will ship the radios with 4 temporary frequencies for immediate use.

Note: FCC licenses expire after 10 years. Ensure to apply for renewal within 90 days before the expiration date.
2. Purchase Without Pre-Programmed Frequencies
You can opt to buy the equipment as it is, without pre-programmed frequencies. In this case, you will need to purchase the programming software and cable separately to program the radios yourself. We offer these accessories for your convenience.

3. Provide Your FCC License Frequency Information
